Hornet Deer Avoidance System

If you have a deer whistle, you may wonder if it is working. Since you cannot get out on your hood to ride at 60 or 70 mph, you just have to have faith that it is in fact functional. And it may not working at all, since most of the debris you hit on the road is concentrated to the front section of your auto. If you have a Hornet, y0u will hear it if you are in your garage or parked near a building. You may even hear it if you roll your windows in the city following a semi truck. Be Safe Be Sure Use a Hornet.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
1 C. shortening
1 C. brown sugar
1/2 C. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
2 C. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1-3/4 C. chocolate chips

In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Mix in the flour, soda, and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Ingredients:
1 C. butter or margarine
1/2 C. sugar
1/2 C. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 C. flour
2 C. chocolate chips or M&M’s
1/2 C. chopped nuts (optional)

In a mixing bowl, cream together first 7 ingredients. Mix in remaining ingredients. Spread batter evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack, then cut into 24 bars.
