Chocolate Butterscotch Haystacks

Ingredients:
2 - 12 oz. packages semisweet chocolate chips
12 oz. package butterscotch chips
1 large can chow mein noodles
Some nuts (Spanish peanuts, marshmallows, cashews, etc..)

In a microwave-safe bolw, melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together. Add noodles and stir to coat. Add nuts, if desired, stirring to coat. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper and cool until set.

Chewy Nutty Bars

Ingredients:
2 tsp. butter or margarine
2 eggs
1-1/2 C. packed brown sugar
5 T. flour
1/8 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. chopped nuts
powdered sugar

Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat. Pour melted butter into a small baking pan. In a separate bowl, beat eggs lightly with vanilla. In yet another bowl, combine sugar, flour, soda and nuts. Stir flour mixture into beaten eggs and vanilla. Pour mixture over melted butter and do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until center is set. Turn out of pan onto rack. Cut into squares and dust bottom with confectioners sugar.

Chewy Cherry Bars

Ingredients:
2 C. graham cracker crumbs
1-1/2 C. chocolate chips
1 C. chopped walnuts
1/2 to 3/4 C. maraschino cherries (Cut into thirds, no need to drain well, okay if there is some juice)
1/2 C. shredded coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. sweetened condensed milk

Mix all ingredients by hand. Pour mixture into a greased 9×9″ square pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 35-45 minutes. Cool pan on a wire rack, then cut into squares.
